Whittier Uptown Car Show

Gold Mine & friends took this opportunity to show off the race Ghia and introduce the public to the custom built Bar-B-Q Bug Trailer...the response was terrific! Sherry Berry convinced Ralph this was a great idea, & Ralph took it from there, forming the the Bar-b-que team with Randy, Ernie Mitchell, & Jose who did the finnish body work & Paint. Thanks go out to Jeff and Jake (from the Volks Stop...check out theire web site from our COOL LINKS page), who acted as the Chefs and served up a great breakfast and lunch ...Randy Varella and son, Don, for helping to organize the food as well as being on the Design team.. Ernie, fabricator & photographer.... and Tom, who not only detailed the vehicles but also managed to take home the first place trophy in the European Division.
